THE STUDIO
Welcome to Sambellina Studio — where wanderlust meets art.
I'm based in Melbourne, Australia, and have always had a passion for travel and a love for capturing the charm of cities and destinations through illustration or photography. While the world stood still during lockdowns and travel restrictions, I found a new way to explore, through my digital sketchbook.
I am obsessed with architecture, design and all of the little unique elements that all come together to create the 'feeling" of a destination.
My illustrations are all hand-drawn - no AI ever used. I use Procreate and an Apple pencil, which I describe as a using a blank sheet of paper, but on the iPad. I started drawing by houses, shops, buildings and then my favourite or popular destinations and landscapes. My drawing style is always evolving. One of my favourite things to illustrate is custom commission illustrations, as they mean so much to a client, and I love our communication process to make it as personal as it can be.
Each print is designed to transport you: to a favourite place, a dream destination, or a moment shared with someone special. Whether you're treating yourself or looking for the perfect gift for a travel-loving friend, I hope my work brings a little bit of the world into your home.
